PROFILE
Ian is a PGA Advanced Professional with over 15 years of experience and holds the Level 3 Coaching certificate and is class AAT qualified.
Ian started his training back in his home county of kent in 1994 under Tienie Britz (European Seniors Tour Player) at Broome Park Golf & Country Club and then moved onto Walmer and Kingsdown GC where he preceded to pass his PGA exams and regularly play for Kent's Assistants League team.
His previous position was the Club Professional at Orchardleigh GC in Somerset where for 9 years he enjoyed the all round duties of the Club Pro, including playing with members, administration, teaching players of all abilities and running the Professional shop.
In recent years he has concentrated his studies in customised club fitting and has become an authorised fitter for leading club manufacturers such as: Taylormade, Ping, Titleist and Callaway.
In June 2009, Ian took up the position of Director of Golf and the franchise of the Professional shop at Wrag Barn where he continues to be passionate about the game of golf.
